This reminds us of the old quote, “You have to go slow in order to go fast.” It’s a simple concept - take the time to build a solid plan before you act, and you’re more likely to achieve your goals and outperform your less prepared competitors. 

The reality, however, is that many DevOps teams are understaffed, overworked, and lack a well-defined process for assessing their CD maturity, setting strategic goals, and building a plan to achieve their goals.
